World Center Hotel New York

Omg, the view from my room was absolutely amazing, overlooking the world trade center! close to subway stations, great restaurants nearby. The staff was nice, but i had trouble with my reservation. Would still visit again 😊.

During our short visit to see the One World Trade Center, we enjoyed the direct view of the tower from our room, as well as the complimentary water bottles and coffee provided. The nearby subway stations made it easy to explore the city. The terrace was a nice spot to relax, although we were disappointed that the restaurant with a terrace overlooking the 9/11 Memorial was no longer operating. Overall, a convenient and comfortable stay in a bustling area.

Everything was really good, so were nice views to a room with a view. The staff were amicable and accommodating too.

The check-in was easy, we loved rooftop bar. The quiet location was a couple of blocks away from The Sphere Sculpture. Food was delicious and reasonably priced; the staff were knowledgeable.

The room had a balcony with a great view of the 911 memorial. I LOVED it! I would choose it again. the view was better than in photos.

The stay was comfortable! For a 4 star hotel everything was good, I liked to be here. I have stayed in standard queen room with kitchenette for 5 nights. All the employees were pleasant and superfriendly.

The stunning views of the Freedom Tower and surrounding landmarks from our room were truly exceptional. the hotel's location in Lower Manhattan was perfect for exploring the area. However, the outdated room decor and occasional maintenance issues detracted from an otherwise pleasant stay.

The location was epic with a view of the 9/11 memorial from our room, and it was convenient for sightseeing and commuting. The bed was super cozy, and the shower was amazing! The staff promptly resolved an issue with the AC in a professional manner. The only downer was that the front desk got a bit busy during check-in and check-out times, making the wait longer than usual. Can't wait to come back! 🌆

Hotel on a high level, but a minus for the foil on the windows covering the view.

Just stayed in downtown Manhattan, right by the World Trade Center. The view of the WTC Memorial from my room was BREATHTAKING! Would stay again, better than photos.

Ideal location in the business district if you come for work. rooms are large and facilities are a real plus: coffee, microwave, refrigerator in the rooms and self-service water fountains.

I was on the street side, on the third floor, it's very noisy with the trucks and sirens. Ask for a high floor!

We had reserved two rooms: 1 for 2 people, 1 for 3 people. When we arrived, 2 rooms for 2 people were allocated to us, while we were 5. The staff, very friendly, solved the problem but we waited more than 2 hours before we could drop off our luggage and settle in our rooms (we were arriving from the airport...). Following this inconvenience, a commercial gesture from the establishment would have been appreciated.

Hotel modern, courteous staff, room not too big, but comfortable, especially the amount of space decreased after adding a sofa bed for the daughter, we had a reservation for a room with a big bed and a sofa bed, and we only got with a big bed. We were given a so-called field bed and promised to move to another room in two days, as compensation we received a voucher for one breakfast for our family in the hotel restaurant. In the end, we didn't change the room, because the bed was probably more comfortable than the offered sofa bed, which I concluded from previous opinions added by guests. . Location - great. What was already written about in the opinions-terminal, which did not handle our card. The staff tried to convince us that it was probably our card that was blocked, you have to call the bank, etc., even though the guests had already had such a problem before. Of course, our card worked everywhere in New York, but not in this hotel. Consequently, we had to pay for the stay and deposit in cash.

The staff kindly upgraded us to a tower-view room for our anniversary. The room was cozy, bed comfy, and the terraces were a huge bonus. Great location for sightseeing and loved the free coffee. Small bathroom and limited drink selection, but overall excellent experience.

The rooms have very poor thermal insulation. So we were cold at night, even with the heating on.

At my first stay, the staff helped with directions, which I appreciated. This place suits me perfectly with Wi-Fi, a fitness centre, a kitchenette, and a welcome drink. I keep coming back for a city break.

The location is very good, the price is reasonable for New York, the rooms are clean, the staff are nice, they tried to react nicely to the requests, but unfortunately there were not always results of this reaction. The advantage is free cold water in the corridors (possibility of pouring into bottles), coffee, fruit and snacks downstairs in the lobby and tasting wine at 5-6 in the afternoon... although during these hours few people stay in the hotel and wine is probably ordered until dinner. A restaurant with a terrace and a nice view on the top of the One World Trade Center tower, but a card without revelation, the menu didn't encourage you to spend your dinner time with so many good restaurants nearby, such as SoHo and Tribeka. The room with the kitchenette is unfortunately one, not very big, has a bedroom section with a sliding screen, but after unfolding the sofa there is no way to go - you have to "jump" through one bed to get to another.

Unfortunately, the air conditioning works terribly - there were still about 28 degrees C (over 80 degrees F) in the room, we were told that it only works when you are in the room and turns off automatically when you go out or sleep at night, but still, despite being in the room for 3-4 hours "moving" and all night long - the temperature has not dropped a bit. The windows do not open, so it was just very stuffy. We did not have a view on Memorial 11/09, only on other skyscrapers and their air-conditioning on the roofs (the noise from them is strong, just like from the ventilation in the room). Kitchen equipment is not complete (for 2-3 people, when there can be 4 in the room with children according to the offer), for example, there was no set of dishes, e.g. plates or mugs for 4 people, no glasses or wine opener, etc. A very small fridge - as for the purposes of a mini-bar, not a kitchenette. The advantage was a small hotplate, not just a microwave. The lighting is generally poor (you have the impression that it is gloomy in the room, because there are no lamps at the top in one part), and this in the bathroom broke down every now and then, and for 11 days no one has fixed it (despite the fact that the staff have ensured several times that they will take care of the problem), and that one lamp in the bathroom was a problem if it didn't want to light up, because you had to light up your cell phone. The staff did not always realize that there were more than 2 people in the room, so they usually left 2 sets of towels. There were only two chairs at the table, so the children had to sit on a couch with a plate in their hands. The hotel, despite the kitchenette, is not well adapted to eating anything that is probably not surprising in the USA, but someone who cares about it like we do because of the diet will be disappointed. The room is maybe nice for 2 people, but for 2 + 2 children for more than 1-2 nights can be difficult. Elevators are slow, and during a stay of 11 days there was always one of them broken, which made it necessary to wait a long time.

We were 3 adults and it is as if we had asked for a double with an extra bed, our very comfortable bed but the one with the sofa bed with a very thin and hard mattress.

It was super cool being right across from the WTC - the views were insane! We explored Battery Park and even hopped on a ferry to Liberty Island - Instagram gold! The room had free snacks and drinks plus a rooftop restaurant - we felt so fancy! Also, the staff were so chill and helpful.

It would be lit if the hotel had a pool or a cool rooftop party vibe, you know, to turn up with fellow young peeps!

I appreciated the central location near the Financial District and World Trade Center. Friendly staff and clean rooms made a good impression. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel's location, which was close to many restaurants and 4-5 subway stops, making it easy to travel around the city. It was also right next to a major attraction, and away from the hustle and bustle of other tourist hotspots. Our room was clean and quiet with free bottled water, and we appreciated the hotel's laundry facilities and comfortable amenities.

The hotel staff was unresponsive and had poor communication during our stay.

You have many subway stations around and where you can buy food as well. The super friendly reception staff. The bed was comfortable which is very important.

I didn't like the fact that the bed, even though it was big, was two mattresses forming a bed, doors to and from the room sounded a lot every time someone closed them. If you go in the winter and don't leave the curtain down, it gets awfully cold.

As a frequent traveler, I value convenience and efficiency above all else, and World Center Hotel delivered on both fronts. Despite staying there only for transit during my travel, I appreciated the hotel's proximity to LaGuardia, which is only 20 km away, making it incredibly convenient for me to catch my next flight. the business center and 24-hour fitness center were well-equipped and allowed me to stay productive and active during my short stay.

While the hotel offered numerous amenities and services, the lack of clear directions or instructions on how to get from JFK to the hotel via subway was a minor downside. As a traveler who often relies on public transportation, having this information more easily accessible would have improved my overall experience.

I had an amazing stay here! The location was perfect, right around the corner from the subway station in a very safe and quiet neighborhood. This hotel is in the Financial District, close to multiple subway lines and within walking distance to everywhere I wanted to go, including the 911 Memorial. The hotel facilities were clean and the staff were friendly.
